A 20-year-old woman was recently sentenced to death by stoning is Sudan for committing adultery. 

I am not quite sure what the whole story is. The article I read didn’t mention how she was caught cheating, or if she did actually commit adultery. She is currently in prison with her baby son.

The sad part about this is that however many cases I have read about stoning to death in Islam have dealt with women. Are you trying to tell me that no Muslim man actually commits adultery? I find that hard to believe that it is just the women. No, that’s quite impossible.

Government officials can say they are just following Islamic law. Islamic law states exclusively the punishment for adultery is stoning by death. Male or female doesn’t matter, the adulterer shall be stoned. If an unmarried Muslim has intercourse, the punishment is a 100 lashes, male or female. 

What I do not quite comprehend is the fact that hardly few men get punished for the same crime. I wonder how fair these Islamic justices really are. I wonder, I really do.
